ARTISTMARK’s creative process is rooted in the tactile, intuitive gestures of human expression—abstaining algorithmic shortcuts in favor of deliberate, hand-rendered mark-making. Each piece is born from a direct engagement with the iPad and a curated recepe of iPad applications as a digital canvas - not as a prompt-fed AI generator. Rather than relying on AI to produce or remix visual content, ARTISTMARK explores the tension between human spontaneity and digital precision, using technology as a tool for amplification—not automation. This approach ensures that every stroke, texture, and composition reflects a uniquely human sensibility, unfiltered by machine learning models.

 

By consciously avoiding AI-generated imagery, ARTISTMARK makes a philosophical statement about authorship and authenticity in the digital age. The work resists the homogenization often associated with generative systems, instead embracing the imperfections and idiosyncrasies that define human creativity. This stance is not anti-technology—it’s a call for intentionality, where tools serve the artist’s vision rather than dictate it.
